Serene valley with tall grass and a trickling stream under the meridian sun, symbolizing a profound connection to nature and the divine

Almost before we knew it, we had left the ground…

When I find myself in a lovely valley, teeming with vapor around me, and the meridian sun striking the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, I am struck by a profound connection to nature. This sense of interconnectedness deepens as I lie close to the earth, surrounded by the tall grass beside a trickling stream. A thousand unknown plants reveal themselves to me, and their intricate details—the delicate veins running through their leaves, the subtle variations in their colors—captivate my senses. The buzzing of insects fills my ears, as I grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of life in this microcosm. In these moments, I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in His own image, and the breath of universal love that sustains us all, floating around us in an eternity of bliss.

As I lie there, enveloped by the natural world, I am overcome by a profound sense of connection to something greater than myself. The darkness that overspreads my eyes seems to merge with the heavens and the earth, dwelling in my soul and absorbing its power. It is as if the form of a beloved mistress has taken hold of my being, and I am filled with a longing to capture these sensations, to describe these conceptions, and to impress upon paper all that is living so full and warm within me. I yearn to create a mirror of my soul, just as my soul is the mirror of the infinite God.

Yet, my friend, the weight of these visions is too much for my strength. I sink under the splendor of these moments, overwhelmed by the beauty and serenity that has taken possession of my entire soul. It is like the sweet mornings of spring, which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, yet I feel the charm of existence in this spot, which seems to have been created for the bliss of souls like mine.

In this state of tranquil existence, I am so happy, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere being, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet, I feel that I have never been a greater artist than now. The beauty of the world around me, the intricate details of nature, and the profound sense of connection to the divine have all combined to create a masterpiece within my soul. It is a masterpiece that I long to share with the world, to capture in words or images, but the task seems insurmountable.

As I continue to lie there, the world around me seems to fade away, and I am left with nothing but the essence of existence. The trickling stream, the tall grass, the unknown plants, and the buzzing insects all become part of a greater whole, a symphony of life that resonates within me. I am at peace, completely at one with the universe, and I know that this moment, this feeling, is what it means to truly live.
